Mary Beth Byerly

Mary Beth is one of three Registered Dental Hygienists at Brooks Dental who graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She is accredited through the American Dental Hygienists Association (ADHA), and her certifications include:

• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• Local anesthesia
• CPR
• Nitrous oxide sedation
• Sealants

Her recent continuing education courses include CPR and infection control.

Away from the office, Mary Beth enjoys hiking, canoeing, playing softball, running, and yoga. The youngest of three siblings, Mary Beth has one niece.

Jamie Villines

Jamie is the most recent addition to the Dr. Brooks team of Registered Dental Hygienists. A recent graduate of the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences program, she is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association (ADHA)and her certifications include:

• Local anesthesia

• Nitrous oxide sedation
• Sealants

Recently, she studied infection control through continuing education. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, going to the lake, and camping. Jamie is married to Clint Villines.

Marcie Black

Marcie graduated from Ozark Technical Community College in Springfield, Missouri before joining Dr. Brooks’s team of Registered Dental Hygienists. Her certifications include:

• Certified Dental Assistant
• Licensed Massage Therapist
• CPR
• Nitrous oxide sedation

Her most recent continuing education courses focused on CPR and infection control.

Marcie is married and has five dogs: Katie, Hope, Sheeba, Yoshi, and Woolley. Besides her pet family, she enjoys fishing, farming, and car shows in her spare time. Her car collection includes a 1972 VW Super Beetle named Sunny and a 1973 VW Thing named Scout.

Debbie Crunkleton

Debbie, a graduate of the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, has certifications in:

• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• CPR
• Nitrous oxide sedation
• Sealants

She regularly updates her skills with the aid of continuing education courses, most recently completing training on infection control.

Away from the office, she spends time farming with her husband, Rick. They have two children, Cody and Amber, and two young grandchildren.

Tammy Studyvin

The longest-tenured member of the Brooks Dental team, Tammy is a graduate of Vatterott College in Springfield, Missouri. Her certifications include:

• Data Processing
• Registered Dental Assistant
• CPR
• Nitrous oxide sedation
• Radiography

Her most recent continuing education courses include CPR and infection control, and she has also spent time volunteering with the Rotary Centennial Free Dental Clinic.

Tammy is married to Kenny, and their large family includes four children, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren. Away from the office, her life centers on her grandchildren and horses and on any other animals she can turn into pets.

Tracy Hooten

Another long-time team member, Tracy is a graduate of North Arkansas College, earning her Associate of Arts and Associate of Sciences. Through those studies and with continuing education courses, she has been trained in:

• Registered Dental Assistant
• Registered Radiology Technician
• CPR
• Nitrous oxide sedation
• Infection control

Her volunteer efforts include work with the Rotary Centennial Free Dental Clinic and organizing fundraisers for Harrison High School?) track and cross country.

An avid runner, Tracy has taken part in Woman Run Arkansas. She and her husband, Rusty, have two children.

Kristie Hilliard

Kristie, Brooks Dental’s office manager, is a long-time team member. She graduated from Brookland High School before training in the following areas:

• Nitrous oxide sedation
• CPR
• Radiography
• Polishing
• Infection control

Kristie’s many volunteer and community interests include:

• Rotary Centennial Free Dental Clinic
• Organizing fundraisers for track and cross country
• Junior High PTA Church children and youth programs and hospitality committee

When away from the office, Kristie loves running, walking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family - husband Shannon and children, Spree and Laine.

Karla Villines

As Brooks Dental’s appointment secretary, Karla is one of the first people you’ll encounter when you visit our practice. Her certifications and training include:

• Nitrous oxide sedation
• Radiography
• Infection control

Away from the office, Karla enjoys camping, 4-wheeling, and reading. She is an active church member and Sunday school teacher. She is married to husband, Bo.
